“Good morning sir..!”, “Yes
Sir..!” , that’s how actually the
morning starts at any corporate, did any one ever thought why we always are
actually so assertive in our tone
towards our bosses , simple we want him/her to believe that we are in line with
what he expects from us, question is are we?, well not much of the crew sailing
in same boat with any normal employee would disagree with me on this and if
they do hatsoff to them. Saturday evening is not bad time to dig the roots of
such replies which we will have to give right from coming Monday in our scrum
meetings.
People lets not flow with the waves and be so
impatient that we don’t even read the coming paragraphs of this post as even I
am one who goes with same situations day in and day out only difference is I am
corporate toddler like many who may have in recent past entered the corporate
to make their fortunes.
Story still continues further same
like a toddler has to undergo many learning curves in his life to grow by
falling and again walking to fall in better way then, even we all will have to
fall, walk and again fall but every time we stand up again it has to be in
grand way .As here we may not have any motherly figure who on our repeated
mistakes may still allow us to make any further attempts.
There
are lot of components which we as infant in the system to be looked at in order
to understand what way we can climb the ladder and reach our dream destination
and what it takes to actually achieve those unseen heights in our career. List
is self explanatory and without any rocket science understanding requirement
but still meaningful to actually go through and recollect some of these to
remove the prefix of toddler from our role.
1. Job role:
When I am talking about job role, we all
new aspirants have very macro idea about what can be best suited job role for
us and how we can align to our designated role in efficient manner. I don’t say
that everyone will have same picture visualise for the same but it can be on
the same line which means that at the end achievement of expected results which will help us to walk on the path
of success.
2. Brand Name:
Very key and important thing for all of us
brand name, well name is name how does it matters to us, but we all know gold
when termed gold has some edge over silver in terms of value so name matters.
We should on our own decide what should be our way of operating whether it
should be normal way like almost more than half of population has done and will
do or we have our own modus operandi in the sense that we will be the one who
wants to play like gayle does in cricket stand and deliver but in his own
trademark way.
3. Salary:
When I am myself wondering about this
aspect how can I write anything on this front but “Paisa bolta hai, meri jaan”
so money has power and weightage which cant be neglected in any sense and has
to taken care when we are talking about corporate toddler who is just on his
knees walking to understand the unseen corporate world.
What’s so new in corporate
toddler is the killing desire to prove that yes he suits the bench of people
who have performed in the past and are key players , only thing he needs is
belief of his system on him/her to deliver as teething problems are always
faced by every one whoever is new only point is to overcome those problems and
stand rock solid.
