Piece of Paper

A piece of paper came to me and said I want to fly,
At first go I was surprised and only question I asked was why?
Piece of paper who is destined to decorate the desk,
Why it wants to fly in the white sky.

Paper came back to me with a determined smile,
And said ‘I just want to experience the aerial route and cover some miles’.

The creative mind converted that piece into stretched triangle shape,
Attached it with thread so that proper direction can be given to it;
And there it was, the determined piece of paper sailing over the clouds.

The word determination can on its own create wonders,
Being firm on what you want can even force the destiny to ponder.

 All this took time and it did not happen overnight,
But the patient paper did not back out when time tested it.

Yes, this is small inspiring poem,
I hope it can wake up in you  the sleeping lion.
