Rain Song

The greenery spread over the place near by,

Got new life when rain water got showered over it from the sky,

Every drop brought charm of freshness with it,

Every drop carried aroma of nature with it.

Watching from window, when I saw that tiny little green grass,

I realized how lucky it is to be at receiving end of the sky,

Drop by drop when water got close to my eyes,

I actually could feel the relief and could easily open up like gigantic sky.

You were not near to me my love,
When I was engrossed in beautifying this nature’s art,

But these rains did have the connective bridge,
Through which, in spite of not being near to you was able to communicate so easily;

And in transmitting this message jovial clouds served as supporting crew.

I could share my experience of witnessing this watery magic of almighty with you,

I could store the music heard by me during marvelous rainy sight in my view,

Word by word this poem is my narration to you,
Of how these rains could help me to compose a song which is as sweet as you.
